As a registered Community Interest Company operating on a not-for-profit basis, Sgoil-Chiùil Steòrnabhaigh / Stornoway School of Traditional Music is committed to increasing engagement with and learning of traditional music in the Outer Hebrides. The Sgoil-Chiùil pays musicians proper Musicians’ Union rates, including preparation time, while building a sustainable programme for the community.
